What is N 95 MASK??
It is respiratory protective equipment designed to achieve close facial fit and it is very efficient equipment for the filtration of air borne particulates in the surrounding. It consists of two thing : N and 95. So have a brief discussion about it below:-
N stands for (non oil) if non oil particulates are not present in the air then it can work efficiently.
95 means it has 95 % efficiency in filtration of air borne particulate
This is a mask introduced as a protective equipment in this pandemic to stop the spread of corona virus. It is a protective equipment to prevent people from the pandemic but due to certain obligations news says with valved features in the N 95 masks the person wearing it is safe but the person who's covid positive or asymptomatic (have an illness but do not have symptoms of it) then tendency of that person infecting other's exists there. The Directorate General of Health Services raised an alarm against the use of these masks.It says that it doesn't prevent the virus from escaping out thus it may not help in keeping the corona virus under control. So people should not wear such kind of valved respirator N 95 mask instead of it they can use mouth cover or full face cover whenever they step out of their home. Advisory also says that the mouth cover they use must be clean properly and don't share your mask with others at all . In case if you are using any home made face cover it should be of cotton and washed properly. Also there must be proper precautions taken while disposing the used mask.
